My jewelry reflects the natural beauty of this region.

I’ve always been drawn to the mountains and now realizing that dream living in Red Feather Lakes, CO. Being inspired by nature and the beauty of this region, my jewelry typically begins with a rough rock which is cut, shaped and polished to bring out it’s natural beauty. Wire wrapping and wire weaving allows the flexibility to create a bezel to support free-form stones, creating a “one of a kind” pendant, earrings or bracelet.

Precious metal clay became a part of my studio work around 2015 and I am now a designated Certified ArtClay Instructor. It begins in clay form with fine silver or sterling silver or base metal clay particles. The clay is rolled out, texturized, cut to shape, dried and refined.  It goes into the kiln where the binders are burned off and your left with a beautiful jewelry component. Designing 3-dimensional jewelry from precious metal clay is my passion.

In addition to making jewelry, I teach lapidary (cutting and polishing stones), jewelry making, silversmithing, precious metal clay and wire wrapping in my home studio and several locations in Ft Collins, Laporte and Cheyenne.
